Option trader here, thinking of using some of my additional account margin to foray into the forex market.

Can anyone offer their experience of using TOS or one of the more traditional non-forex brokers to trade currencies. I'm looking for information regarding cost, platform quality, pip spreads quality, ect.

I'm wondering if TOS would be an alternative to using a bucket shop broker.

I am a TOS forex user. I do like the platform and the spreads are decent. I thought it worked pretty well during the craziness of Thursday and Friday. The spreads didn't widen but it took some time to get fills which was to be expected.
