Beyond your (landlocked?) state there are some other states, and beyond them is something called the "ocean". But wait for it, there's more. Paradigm shift coming, so sit down. If you were to get in a canoe and paddle across the ocean for a really long time you'd reach something called a "country". If you were to step out of your canoe you'd experience a different culture (no pun intended) and a different language, possibly one similar to your own but just a little bit different.
