you are comparing TOS and IB ?

jesus h. !

Quote from tickmagnet:
As I said both companies are great , for pricing IB is better, but still if you trade large volumes you are better off with TOS. IB is more for daytaders , and hey their margin is 1.69 percent , but this is very big" intuitive software" that's definitely TOS.

my advice is
if you want to paper trade... or swing trade... it doesn't matter who you use
tos charts are good for end of day.

if you want to trade intraday with tos ... just buy a gun and shoot yourself because it is much faster

Cute, but not responsive. What broker would you recommend?

If using ToS is like putting a gun to my head, then that's a new definition for yielding an average of 10% per month with an average time in the market for each trade of 19 days.

good luck..... you must be an "elite trader" : )

.... 19 days in a trade... sounds a lot like "intra" -day trading.
because one day has about 24 hours in it.
...if you can fit 19 days into 24 hours.... very well done sir.

I make my living trading index options credit spreads. Am I serious? As serious as a heart attack. If you have information for me to keep me out of trouble it would be a generous gift to provide it. By all means PM me.

I opened a new account with TOS and ordered a very simple vertical spread. The buying power effect in order confirmation box is totally mess up. The buying power effect for a 5 point spread sometime is 10 point, 20 point or even 50 point. I talked to them and they said it would be fixed with the next release. I guess it probably only happed to a new account. They seem don’t really care. After TOS was bought by TDA their culture seems changed.
