The book inspired a lot of people...Jim Rohn was one of the GOATs of betterment philosophy and says it helped him change early on, Bob Proctor as well. I didn't care for the book...reminded me of an old version of "The Secret" and uses magic & superstition to prey on desperation. I was further disappointed when I did a little research on Napoleon Hill and it spoiled his credibility in my eyes.

Maaan, you are too innocent and good for your own good. Make up some stuff.
Tell them some vague excuse examples.

Tell the customers results may vary and fluctuate from time to time.
It's against the Law to post my records or actual claims.
It's a private matter.
My dog ate the trading records.

Open up 20 fantasy trading accounts. And brag about the best performing one publicly as actual 'Proof' of skill.
