They Work in Crypto, ...

but get paid in fiat, of course!

Some 97% of people in the nascent industry are paid a base salary in fiat, while only 3% are paid in crypto, according to a new study from Pantera Capital, a digital-asset investment firm. The 2023 compensation data was based on 1,046 responses.

And of those who got paid in crypto, the vast majority took the pay in the dollar-linked stablecoins USDC and USDT, with 13% opting for bitcoin (BTC).
But those 0.39% that get paid in bitcoin should

for being true believers.
:D

Quite a disingenuous rational given for taking home fiat. The same engineers and managers who take home fiat today but believe in the utility of crypto in the future only survive and can feed their families by convincing the rest of the world to invest in cryptos today.

What are you even talking about. You can pay someone in tiny fractional crypto increments. Being a crypto fanboy is one thing but blatantly and intentional making up rubbish is an entire other thing...fact is that the same shills who encourage everyone to get fully into cryptos are by majority paid in fiat. Hypocrisy at its best.

Makes sense since Bitcoin is worth more than Fiat and that they would be overpaying their employees if they did...

Clap! Clap! Clap! The clown is back!

Fiat is losing value, and Bitcoin gaining. If you gave me the choice of a dollar in Bitcoin or a dollar in fiat, i'd take the Bitcoin. Makes sense? Good, now lets shut our fat mouths...

Really??
You would be happy to be paid a salary of say 3 bitcoin a year not knowing what the dollar value of the coin will be at the end of the month when your bills come due in fiat?

Yes because even if the price of Bitcoin is still at 20k at the end of the year I would have turned it into multiple Bitcoins from trading it. Not to mention, a 1M dollar Bitcoin is still on the table. I think 1 million dollars is not bad for a years wages.

Shows you are just a joker. The real professionals, developers, coders, managers voted differently, clearly indicating they are fully aware of the shit they pander to the crowd.

Your comment is ridiculous. Pure thin air.
