Jimmy and everyone else will be judged by whatever the new wokeness of the day is determined to be. All will be judged by todays standards and only those of today. That way they, (ironically called progressives), get to deny any progress being made, any evolution of self or society, all behavior is just unacceptable, past or present.
Same reason they want all the statues gone. No history, no point of reference, nothing to make any comparisons. They just tell you you're evil and need to change because they and they alone will decide what is right, and that will change with they're every whim. It's all being cloaked in some virtue signaling righting of wrongs, but it is about control, complete and total control of every word spoken, every action taken, every thought you may have.
On the upside, all of it becomes self defeating as they themselves cannot hold up to their ever changing standards, their numbers dwindle and eventually they simply kill themselves off. The downside is that is going to take awhile and the collateral damage will be huge. Think gangbangers killing themselves off in Chicago. Yes, the murder rate is down over the years, but still runs at an alarmingly high rate and the innocents killed in the crossfire far outweigh the number of thugs killing each other. That is our future without some seriously decisive action taken, and right quick.
