Trump was a total loser but people liked that he promised them a wall to nowhere. There isn’t a bright spot in his tenure from the economy to foreign policy, it’s all shit.
As the saying goes, "a stock that fails to rally on good news, needs to be sold because its best days are over" or something like that.
With that in mind it will be interesting to see how Joe's polls numbers look with jobs up, minor change in gas prices, a minor win on the latest giveaway bill, etc.
If Joe starts to get some good news but his poll numbers fail to rally that is a BAD sign. It means people just don't want him, regardless of whether the news is good or bad. It's a bitch to run a campaign on that. Same with Kamala. Maybe she will get some assignment where she has some success (I doubt it) but people have already identified her as a loser.

Yeah, Joe’s probably baked in buuuuuuut most of his bleeding support is from younger voters. He is expected to announce some sort of student loan reform and that might tick his numbers up.
I’m watching the congressional numbers personally. They seem to be a better barometer of overall national approval. Biden may have become a victim of fashion. It might not be en Vogue to say you support or like him even though you might actually. Kind of like another guy we all know.
It might tick numbers up among that youngr demographic, but it does not come without a cost elsewhere.
Other voters who are feeling like there is lots of free shiite flying around and all they are getting is high inflation is a chance to pay off someone's college debt while they did not or were not able to go to college.
Grievance is always a factor but I don’t think there’s too many people who will grieve that aren’t already grieving.
There is still some doubt whether a president can actually wipe out all student debt. I tend to think the authority is not that extensive.
So, I would expect some package scenario that is actually within the President’s clear authority. What I would like to see beyond the Biden promise of $10k and that never gets discussed anywhere is zero interest on something like the first $30k and back date it. I think that’s something a majority of people could support because you still pay what you owe and it incentivizes watching the borrowing levels.
We’ll see how smart they are in the White House though.
