These statements about transitory inflation are bs, it is INFLATION!

Please tell me what specific Biden plan has caused gas prices to spike globally.

Before you insult my intelligence.... dont say something stupid. Also you just spouted political bullshit instead of facts. Like below for example.

I bet Hong Kong and denmark are regretting voting for Biden right?

At an average of $4.59 per gallon as of May 19, American consumers are dealing with the highest gas prices the nation has ever seen.

But the pain at the pump is actually much worse in some other countries. The global average price of a gallon of gas, in American dollars, is about $5.13, according to GlobalPetrolPrices.com. But there’s a wide range in the price paid by country.

Residents of Hong Kong pay the highest international gas prices, with one gallon setting them back $10.97. Norway has the second-highest gas prices at $9.64 per gallon, followed by Denmark where gas costs an average $9.32 per gallon.

Below is Denmark gas price in liters per gallon.... wow notice the spike in 2020 as hte world demand surged. Same as U.S.

PIPELINE:
Keystone XL, an expansion of an existing North American pipeline, would have carried 830,000 barrels of crude oil from Alberta, Canada, to Nebraska daily at its peak. At the time Mr. Biden halted its construction, the $8 billion expansion was only about 8% complete, according to Reuters.

Yet many experts agree that moving ahead with the pipeline wouldn't have prevented U.S. gas prices from climbing to a record high. Expanding the Keystone would have increased global oil production by less than 1%, an amount, they explained, is "almost negligible." [iN OTHER WORDS...IT IS A PIPELINE AND ONLY IMPROVED MOVEMENT BUT STILL WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FINISHED ANYWAY]

Even if the pipeline was already built, it wouldn't help with the price at the pump, Nemet added, noting that the U.S. has already doubled its oil production over the last 15 years. "And yet, we still have $100 per barrel oil."
It wouldn't be online and wouldn't be moving oil until the year 2023.

THE KEYSTONE WAS A PIPELINE....NOT AN OIL FIELD. YOU GENIUSES ARE CLAIMING THAT IF A PIPELINE WAS NOT BUILT THEN NO OIL IS FLOWING....THE OIL WAS STILL PRODUCED.

You can complain about Biden cancelling leases or whatever but say these are reasons why gas prices are higher is NOT INTELLIGENT AT ALL.

Either make an economic argument or leave the politics aside. it is not a good look for a smart person.
It is clearly a political policy. The administration has said so itself, they seek a "great transformation to a green economy" and you know its true and are giving them cover.

Trump handed Biden an economy with 2% inflation and $2 gasoline. Inflation now stands at 11% and nearly $6 gasoline. It is either incompetence or it is a policy. The Transportation Secretary has said it is a policy. I'll take him at his word.

So a political response to an economic question....

got it...

Snarkhund: trump handed Biden 2% inflation and $2 gas

December 2020 CPI 7%...

facts matter

your credibility just got flushed down the toilet.

you cant make this shit up.

THIS IS WHY I SAID HAVE A ECONOMICS ARGUMENT WITH ME NOT A POLTICIAL ONE...
the bias always clouds the discussion.
What month would you like to cite then?

I mean, if you cannot even concede factual impartial numbers produced by the government itself then its probably not possible to debate.

So emo. Its like arguing with a child.

For January 2021 the National Inflation Rate is shown to be 1.4% but I thinks its more representative to talk about Trump during his tenure, not the month he handed the economy to Biden.

But... fine. It was 1.4% according to the United States government. Joe ran that up to present levels:

https://cpiinflationcalculator.com/2022-cpi-and-inflation-rate-for-the-united-states/

which shows for January 2022 being 7.5% not the 11% I claimed.

Regardless, clearly Biden is not able to competently manage the economy and particularly the transportation and energy sectors. Its a policy of incompetence and gaslighting.

If you invest money you should stop.

There is no doubt about Biden's incompetence so you get no argument from me.... but to say he caused inflation spike simply by being president ignores the entire global economy and basic economics. Also your charts if you believe them shows inflation lower under Obama but you wont make the argument trump raised inflation with tax cuts and covid handouts. that is why you need to avoid the political argument if you can.

What caused the inflaiton spike in Brazil... Denmark.... UK? It was not Biden. As for the transportation sector... the logsitics crisis started in Asia and still exists there because we import almost everything from Asia. Same with Europe. a president just gets on tv but when you have millions of containers and just a few trucks and workers available....you can guess what happens. Unless Biden can shit trucks, cranes, drivers and longshoremen, neither he nor DOT Pete can do much except get camera time.

And I dont mean to disappoint you but if trump won he would be in the same boat except the media narrative would have been different. remember no one knows more about logistics than trump I guess.

Ugh you claimed inflation as of Jan 2020 to be the date trump handed it to Biden..... dont try and back off of that now as though I am wrong
