Is everything from the whole country evil? Is President Ronald Reagan so the fool to judge the whole country "evil empire"? Or could he is afraid of what he can not understand that is different from his world?

Cuba was/is worse than people think. I recall Radio Havana talks about how people should find alternative food sources a few decades back. What they were talking about was going out into the country and turning over rocks and eating grubs, eating weeds and stuff.

I wouldn't work hard under that system they have. Few would, murdering psychopaths ruling, the return on investment is nothing for hard work, innovation, etc. so people don't do it and they wind up in the stone age...

My wife's been there a coupla times. She says the people are surprisingly happy. Much more than the general populace in Canada anyway. So they're achieved the end without the means.

Cuba is a great example of what happens when people manage an economy instead of letting free market forces work. Cuba is nearly pre-industrial.

In fact, China, the fastest growing nation in the world is Communist and doesn't let free markets roam "freely."

I don't know what the correct economic system is. If we did, that is what would be implemented world-wide. Pure Capitalism is almost certainly false thought. And so is pure state control.

I know several marine biologists and they tell me the same thing:Cuba because it has been so backward economically for so long, has a tremendously clean environment. For people that need to study these habitats, it is a paradise.

They warn: Go to Cuba __before__ it is taken over the capitalists take over since it will eventually be Singapore.
