Hero is probably the most overused word being thrown about these days, actually for several years now. It started as some kind of guilt ridden gesture to compensate how Vietnam Vets were treated. Suddenly every schmuck who signed up was a hero. Ahhh, no. Then it really took off during 9/11. They run towards the danger ad nauseam. Well, that's their fucking job, it's what the get paid to do. There were plenty of heros that day, most all of them regulat Joe's and Jane's who ran towards the danger to help when they didn't have to. That's a hero. Now every doctor and nurse is a hero. Ahhh, no. You getting paid bitches, just go do your fucking job. Heros aren't hamming it up for the camera or complaining about long hours and horseshit conditions. The only heroes I see in all of this are again the average Joe's and Jane's giving their time to help others less fortunate.

ASPI estimates at least 80,000 Uyghurs were transferred out of Xinjiang and assigned to factories in a range of supply chains including electronics, textiles, and automotives under a central government policy known as ‘Xinjiang Aid’. The report identified 27 factories in nine Chinese provinces that are using Uyghur labour transferred from Xinjiang since 2017.
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Abercrombie & Fitch, adidas, Amazon, BMW, Gap, H&M, Inditex, Marks & Spencer, Nike, North Face, Puma, PVH, Samsung and UNIQLO to respond; their responses are provided. We invited Apple, Esprit, Fila and Victoria's Secret to respond; they did not. We will continue to post further company responses as we receive them.
