Not to mention the fact... that in the imagination of the Framers... the huge majority of today's Hellary voters would not even be allowed to vote.
The Founders envisioned "responsible" voting. That is a voter should be one who has skin in the game... a citizen, property owner, tax payer, one who "pays attention" to goings on so that he can make an informed vote as to how the country is to be run. (Slaves were not allowed to vote and neither were women.)
What we have now is almost the greedy antithesis. Under the Founders' guidelines, there was a time when I would not have been allowed to vote. As a college student, I neither paid taxes nor owned property. Over time, I "earned" the right to vote by becoming accomplished enough.
Personally, I'm not a fan of "each person gets a vote", nor am I a fan of young and immature college students having a vote. They're too stupid, too inexperienced and too easily manipulated to be entrusted with something so important.
