These 'little alerts' show Iran’s growing presence in Latin America

Evidently Argentina is complicit in the Iranian bombing in that country. Its been going on for years down there. Other continents as well.

The recent bomb on Koh Samui sure looks suspicious. Thai police are saying it relates to muslim extremists in southern thailand but to me it looks a bit more like the bombings Iran tried to pull off in Bangkok.

Remember that one? One of the terrorists threw a bomb which hit a tree, bounced back towards him and blew his legs off. That is pure Iranian right there.

Iran has been following us around the school yard insisting on a fight since 1979 and we continue to ignore them. They will continue to escalate until they get the beating they seem to crave... or somehow destroy us due to our complacence.

Sometimes you have to kick someone's ass. If the world allows Russia to supply S-300 SAMs to Iran we are probably going to have a nuclear WWIII at some point.

I guess human civilization isn't worth the trouble of kicking a bullies ass.

Do you think the Iranian government just spun the wheel of fortune and it ended pointing to the U.S., or is there perhaps another reason they don't think of us as their friend?

The Shaw was extremely repressive and brutal and the population links that repression and brutality to the USA after decades of us supporting him. The islamofacist regimes that followed adopted the anti-USA rhetoric and strategy as a foil against internal political opposition to the revolution.

In 1953...after the Shah fled the country, the British MI6 aided an American CIA operative in organizing a military coup d'état to oust the nationalist and democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh. (underlining mine)

So what? After obama undermined Mubarak, the Egyptians "democratically" elected a muslim brotherhood thug. He's in prison now, where he belongs.

We engineered a coup to oust the dmeocratically elected president of Ukraine and have had big trouble with the Russians ever since. I haven't heard any liberals crying over that ouster.

Liberal icon JFK ousted the democratically elected president of South Vietnam and he was killed. Things continued to go downhill but liberals managed to convince everyone it was all Nixon's fault.

After the Shah was sent out of Iran - most of the middle class was chased out also. A good number settled in New York in the area I grew up in. Most of these families considered the Shah to be a great man who held the religious extremists in check. Iran lost nearly its entire educated middle class after the revolutionaries took power.

Those who believe as you do should not be surprised if they become the target of terrorists. My view is quite different from yours. It is nice to think of your government as always being on he right side and having the purest of intentions when it invades other countries or otherwise interferes in their internal affairs. It is also naive.
