There's something wrong with human nature.

This is meant to be a lighthearted farce, right?... "Oh, how absurd! Government thugs going around arresting harmless people for no reason! LOL... well, we all know that could never happen!"

Fucking hilarious, but the joke's on you.

This is with capitalism? With capitalism they poison alcohol with the government approval?

So when people today in this time say Obama is the communist because he want to regulate pollution, give health care, education, promote science, math, they are wrong to say he is communist.

Quote from trendlover:

I have no fucking clue what the word 'capitalism' means.

That's ok- most people can't properly define the word either. That's why capitalism is the unknown ideal.

No, I did not say that quote you give to me.

Is "ideal" for Ayn Rand to POISON her body with diet drugs, because (she follow) the mainsteam doctor?and "ideal" to ask her husband is ok to have sex with another man BUT she so angry when the other man have sex with other women?
Is ok with Ayn Rand only if she benefit. But when other people try to benefit their own life (just like she do), she is angry, cultist, no capitalist.

You're alright, man. I probably should have taken your past posts into consideration and responded to you in a more restrained manner.

There's just something disturbingly Orwellian when people pervert good words to mean bad things. (The 'Justice' department charged with oppression of harmless prohibition violators, the 'no child left behind' act to federalize control of schools at the expense of local municipalities, etc ...not to mention what they keep doing to the poor words 'Liberty' and 'Freedom'). With Capitalism though, the Orwellian doublespeak is usually unintentional- people rarely understand what 'capitalism' even means.

As for Ayn Rand, she had her personal flaws as we all do, but I can say with certainty that she never committed a single genuinely anti-capitalistic act in her entire life.

Rearden, maybe I do not understand what Ayn Rand talk about.
I think collectivism is the part of free market. For example, research for drugs or food is collection of many tests of scientists from the collection of the researchers. So people take the drug or eat food on the market because of (collective peer approved)
Another example, Goldman Sachs. The company make money no from the individual, but from all employee (collectively) to the same goal.
