There’s No Crisis at the Border

Washington Post: “We looked at data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection to see whether there’s a ‘crisis’ — or even a ‘surge,’ as many news outlets have characterized it. We analyzed monthly CBP data from 2012 to now and found no crisis or surge that can be attributed to Biden administration policies.”

“Rather, the current increase in apprehensions fits a predictable pattern of seasonal changes in undocumented immigration combined with a backlog of demand because of 2020’s coronavirus border closure.”

This is laughable.

are we talking about the terrorist attack on the Capitol anymore? No. Scaravan hook, line, and sinker once again.

Nice rebuttal with facts and figures, post a Fox News link to make your post more believable.

Yet... there is article after article like this with numbers quoting the Biden administration across all the mainstream media including CNN, ABC, NBC, etc.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Tuesday the U.S. is expected to reach the highest number of people apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border in two decades.

“We are on pace to encounter more individuals on the southwest border than we have in the last 20 years. We are expelling most single adults and families. We are not expelling unaccompanied children," Mayorkas said in a statement addressing what he described as a “difficult” situation at the border.

The assertions made in the Washington Post article are so laughable they are not even worth discussing.

You know how I know there's no crisis at the border? Trump built the wall and nipped illegal immigration in the bud. He even got Mexico to stop central American crossings w/his deal maker skills.

None of that is a crisis, why is 20 years some magical line that defines crisis?
