As crazy as this may sound, I really do think the FOMC with its magic money machine will never let the stock indexes fall that much. They thru their member banks can control the futures markets, they can and will pressure commodity prices lower.
Why people can't understand this is very strange to me. I once believed in free markets, which stopped when Bernanke and Hank Paulson took over the banks.
