There is a lot of "professional jealousy" in the option forums. How else can you explain the 1 star ratings on some of the threads. Good live calls from mikeenday all generated good profit, but they get low ratings

Some winning live trades from me also generated low thread ratings.

I figure the low ratings come from the option sellers who make nickels and dimes, while the option buyers make the dollars. :cool:
 
Assigning motives to actions is always problematic. I've pretty much given up engaging in anything but civil discussions.

I did not notice thread ratings or how to vote on them.
 
I've been on this forum for quite some time and I never pay attention to ratings, I don't even know how to rate threads or have any desire to do so.

I've seen a lot of people come and go and I most definitely don't need some stars to tell me which thread or poster is good and which one is not. It only takes one post to see who is full of it...

You're right! We're consumed with envy.

Many of us have worked in this industry for years, spent countless hours studying the options markets, and still can't make calls like yours.

So naturally I down-rate all of your threads.

I am still in awe of your Starbucks call from a few years back.
 
Whoever rates threads to being with are wankers. As OP has stated, it doesn't take a thread rating to realize which threads and posters are full of it.

If you'd use your mikey handle to recomend your forex posts and use your forex handle to recommend your mikey posts, we wouldn't be hving this problem.

Ratings are about as useless as your posts so we just ignore them.
