There has to be a better way to brush our teeth

8 trillion microbeads pollute U.S. aquatic habitats daily

"(CNN)Not to alarm you, but your daily morning regimen might be harming the planet's oceans.

What's the culprit? Microbeads. They are tiny, plastic beads that many companies have added to body scrubs, cosmetics, soaps -- essentially hundreds of products, to create an exfoliating sensation for users...."

I envision in the future, we will have this laser thing the size of a current electric toothbrush in our bathroom. We just open our mouth and push a button. A laser invades our mouth and in one second germs are eliminated. Then we spray this substance into our mouth that has the same effect as flouride. The whole operation will take three seconds, will be far more effective than current brushing and less abrasive on our teeth, and it will be 1,000 times less harmful to our environment.

If you care, don't buy products with microbeads in them.

If we care, don't buy products with micro beads in them. Ok, where's the list of products with no micro beads? Last I checked, this wasn't an FDA labeling requirement.

that last one is one of the issues that most concerns me as well.... living in San Diego... I wonder what fukishima might be doing to our environment and kids here on the west coast.
