Not at all. It's overwhelmingly blacks and arabs. The few pics of white looters are spammed so as to create that impression, but whites are few of the aggregate. Talk to anyone in the UK and there's no confusion about what's going on, or who is doing it.

Two reasons I guess.
1 is when police acted previously against minor incidents the public thought they were using excesive force...

I am in the UK and the looters and rioters in Manchester are in majority white, the proportion of whites involved in the London riots also seemed to rise as the riots progressed. To the question, would you shoot a young kid or how do you deal with hundreds of people? That's why you do not let things spiral out of control in the first place. A civilized society must be ready to respond with overwhelming force when its very existence is threatened. If you come down hard and fast, then people take note and see it might not be as much fun as they thought.
Second, I fond it interesting that groups that are trying to organize to protect their communities and make up for the incompetence of the police are being labelled "vigilantes", a pejorative term. The proper term for them is "heroes." I would expect the authorities will focus their resources on prosecuting any of these "vigilantes" who get physical with looters or rioters. That would be in keeping with various outrageous prosecutions in the past of homeowners who defended their homes against invasion. Apparently in the UK, if someone breaks into your house, you may ask them politely to leave but otherwise are not allowed to do anything.
I'll say this. Any of these punks who come to the US and try this crap will get a surprise.

Try the term England and Wales as Scotland and Northern Ireland have a more robust interpretation of home defense. I am in Canary Wharf, and will be here till the 22nd. The Tottenham riots were almost all black, but there were a few Arabs and pakis in there too sure. Of course the London riots were mostly black and are mostly black. So fuck off to your impotent PC pussy cave. Well its not like US doesn't have evidence of what would happen. If I were a betting man, and of course trading this madness, I am. I would say Philly is on tap for some serious problems. And no one is armed, except criminals. The cops are led by pure corrupt incompetence. If it were to go, it would be mad max, more than just theft. It would, imo, be much much worse than what has happened in England. High body count, for sure.
When it comes down to it, if you are overwhelmed by animals, unarmed... It's over. People should have left, as they have in Detroit.
