Theories on bitcoins muted volatility?

Anybody have any guesses as to why bitcoins volatility has seemingly fell off a cliff?

I don’t have the numbers in front of me, but looking at a trailing standard deviation number shows the volatility decreasing markedly over the last month or so. Does anybody read this and take any conclusions?

Is this a low volatile period before the next leg down? Does this show that all the big sellers are washed out and there is limited selling pressure left? Does this mean nothing? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Lack of compelling narrative. The hedge against money printer go brrr has not realized.

I don't know, but would someone please tell the CME Group ?
They still have outrageous margin requirements for BTC and MBT.

The first (and only) time I traded a futures contract was the new CME Ether micros this year (or was that nanos?) futures. I forget now, but it was fun just to do my first-ever futures trade and now I can say that I have THAT experience under my belt. :D

Haven't touched it ever since...

There was talk about BTC correlation today on CNBC. Many investors think it is uncorrelated with NQ or QQQ, etc.
Also, Bloomberg had a big piece on BTC and how the volatility has dropped considerably lately.
