Actually, Lakeland, Florida (about 50 miles away) was the Lightning Capitol according to Guiness a few years ago.

Never been struck. Of course, I don't golf in thunderstorms, either. But the power goes off alot.

The worst part of trading is when the markets are closed. I'm looking at Esignal Euro Region and IB so I can trade the LSE and DAX.

Does it have good volume? Does it fluctuate? Let's trade.

Tampa is the lightning capitol of the world. And if you have never spent the season there it is truly awesome to see. From a distance of course.

Went up on a lookout hill once with about 100 other people to watch a storm. Talk about the hand of God. A lightening bolt struck about 100 feet from the group and it was like thumping a countertop with a bunch of ants on it. Instant frenzied random motion.

I, too have been very close to a lightning strike and frenzied motion is exactly what you do!
