I posted on another thread. After Trump banned SMIC, I got a notification from Interactive Brokers that I can't no long open positions even the stock is trading in Hong Kong and Shanghai. I closed the positions at the end of that year with losses. Who can I sue? US Goverment or Trump personally?

Yes, you should be careful about your US + NATO assets. Limit the allocation size to something you can afford to lose, like 10-20%.

Nobody actually wants to fight with China, as long as it doesn't start an attack on Taiwan or another nation in the region there will not be a war. Of course, Xi seems to be the key decisionmaker. I've heard arguments that he would try as early as 2025, but overall it is idiotic to do it, but that's the democratic countries' perspective.

I considered that possibility, but it's a bit unusual theme for a spambot. Of course, ChatGPT would easily be able to make something like that linguistically, but it it wouldn't choose a current news topic and instead have been instructed to write something super generic about trading.
 
Japan is increasingly ramping up both its offensive and defensive capability in regard to China, so that is something that China has to deal with too.

That is not something that Xi wanted to see. Not saying that Japan is in the same league with China, just that they are preparing to take care of their neighborhood now and not just depend on the U.S. Japan's military has been dormant for decades but there is bad blood between the Japanese and the Chinese that has not gone away. The Chinese will not get a free pass if they mess around with Japanese territory and vice versa.

India has the border war with China going on up in Kashmir which flares up every other year too with real fighting and killing. So China needs to be careful there. Again, not saying India is a match. Just saying that some of these countries are ramping up to at least protect their own turf.

Mate you need ask the question, why would a 1 post Chinese denizen post on ET - (oh just a reminder, it's a trading forum), into the politics section about war with China? :)
The guy may not be a bot, but 1+1 don't add up to 2 here.
