3 homicides in 3 hours in Brooklyn, police search for gunmen

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- There were three homicides in three hours in Brooklyn Wednesday, with one of them in East Flatbush.

Police say they found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his stomach on Clarkson Avenue just before 7 p.m.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and is expected to survive.

Police then entered an apartment on the second floor, where they found a 38-year-old man dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police did not find any weapons inside the apartment.

Earlier at 4:01 p.m., a 22-year-old man was fatally shot in front of the New First Cook restaurant on Stillwell Avenue in Gravesend.

Police say the gunman pulled up in a vehicle, briefly talked to 22-year-old Rasard Deas and shot him.

Have you checked the murder rates in Florida cities lately? I bet you live in a pretty dangerous area.

Are we comparing states or cities? Or a city to a state? Because if it is your intent to compare NYC to the 3rd most populous state in the nation, well that's a bit of an apples to oranges.

And I live in an extremely safe area. High levels of police and military. And everyone is armed.

Check the murder rate in the closest city to you. There’s probably a better than even chance the murder rate is higher there than NYC or Chicago. Y’all have some pretty serious gang wars down there.
