I guess no one uses the search function to see how this money losing experiment turned out last year. I, for one, did search this fellow's experiment in the index futures and saw for myself that it was not so hot.

ElPrado is correct and yet he is being made to look like the loser. Too funny.

Yeah....people got mad at me for pointing out that this guy's results werent good at all. Look at his results....loss,loss,loss. His wins dont even come close to covering his losses. Hey, he seems like a nice fellow, but his trading is rather frightening. Anyone who is any kind of trader would see that his money management/trading skills are lacking. He does get points for being honest, but outside of that anyone who pays for his calls deserves to be parted from their money. As far as the guy who called me a loser, I guess he must have gotten burned by RC and actually paid for his trades. Too bad....
 
look no one is calling anyone a loser... it just trying to maintain some adult maturity about it. Some of things we so easily type are not things we would really have the balls to say to that same persons' face. Hence, why type it at all?

EP is right, this guy RC is way off base, an he will soon start crapping his pants when his system MISSES an 18pt drop on the ES... Which by the way had a pull back of some sort.

If I am a subscriber and my 'chat room' misses that... I get perturbed.

Jackbyrd... no one is making EP to look like a loser, so go start something wherever you were prior to Sept 05 (your registry here). Some just didn't think it was all necessary to come down as hard as he did.

I said eprado sounded like a loser because I interpreted what he was saying as BS meant to make this RC guy feel like an idiot. I think both eprado and I are both over this. I reacted because I like this RC guy and wish him success - and I am a reactive bitch on occasion, sorry eprado - you're not a loser.

I've never tried his (or anybody else's) system nor do I follow his calls (nor anybody else's calls). F--k, I don't even trade futures - I am a stock trader only becuase I feel I have a solid edge in equites that, from prior experience, doesn't transfer well to futures. I think futures is a more difficult market and I like to see if the reasoning in this guy's approach pans out (profitably or unprofitably, whatever).

Here's a Tony Robbins life lesson:

From my own observations, people who talk down to others, make others feel shitty, or are just plain assholes usually have a deep seeded inferiority complex (usually due to certain physical size problems as noticed by the opposite sex).

For all the BS thrown at this RC guy, he's never bitched, antagonized or gotten upset at anyone.

Like I said, I'm not here to defend his trading but I do respect his intentions.

P.S. His performance summary on the website doesn't appear like a consistent losing strategy. The drawdown isn't bad and some months he did quite well.
 
I appreciate everyone's comments. Let's keep it respectful, no need for personal attacks, etc. And please stay on topic (this is RC's Journal, not anyone elses). It's fine to give constructive criticism but there's no value in any abusive comments. Bottom line, if the journal offends or bothers you then simply move on to another thread. Thanks.

Man..I started WWIII in here..didnt mean to. My comments about bookies and all was sarcastic/messsing around. But I do stand by my comments about selling a system that does not produce results...and RC"s system from what I saw doesnt produce at all and has horrible money management. Maybe I was a bit harsh and for that I apologize (seeing how this RC guy is a "good"guy) .

It seems RC's system looks to capture huge moves....and over the last 2 days we finally had them. His system missed this big time. These moves are rare lately, so missing them is very bad. Like you said, if I actually paid for his calls, would be big time pissed they didnt catch this.

What I initially saw was a guy who said "trading ep's is easy...I have the winning edge....look at my profits...I am not trading today, am up too much already....you too can follow my great system that is the BEST out there". My initial reaction was that this guy is some loudmouth who wont shut up when he wins (I am sure most of you have been on a desk with idiots like that and wanted to plant their heads through the screen). Upon reading more I dound out his english was poor and he was just having fun and seems like a "nice guy". So again, I apologize if it seemed I was ripping him to shreds. That being said, his system in my opinion is not good and he really shouldnt be charging for a system that doesnt produce solid results. Not sure what you liked in his results , but I wish his followers good luck....gonna need it.

As far as you and I....no problemo....just heat of the moment arguing...no biggie.
 
He's a Rickey Cheung groupie, and advertises that all over his web site, but supposedly doesn't use RC's systems. So what the hell is he charging $1k/month for? I don't care if his engish isn't good. The fact that he's a hypester should be a tip-off and claims that he's a CTA is a joke. His performance record has a total of 6 or 7 trades for some months, which I guess would explain why he's been conspicuously absent today?
