That's easy.... the corner stores that sell sh*t food for ultra-premium prices.* Who in the USA benefits the most from American welfare system?

Other "professional complainers"? My children, they complain, but still get an allowance!Scataphagos, you are pointing out an interesting angle: the theme of "life not being fair to me and others". But it seems that you are more antipathic toward socio-economic groups.
* Do you know of other set of people who are "professional complainers" ?
* Do you hate all the people who whine and don't want to pull their weight in?
* What do you think, of what you American call "white trash" (???) who whine? How much do they annoy you or not? and why?

Don't hate people who complain and don't pull their weight. Disappointed and disgusted at times.
White trash is still trash...not fond of any "trash". In past career I did plenty of citizen arrests on all trash and non trash. Arrested lawyers, doctors, engineers and many managers. Anybody is capable of stealing!

Like I said earlier in the thread. If one of your kids is regularly taken advantage of by your other child, so the parent gives the lesser able child the advantage...to compensate for past suffering. The problem still exists...one happy and one miserable child...just changed sides.Scataphagos,
Your story reminds me of this high school situation.
They used to fire the worst student of each class.
One new teacher took on himself to offer FREE extra tuition to the most struggling students.
Everybody basically got angry:
* the parents who were paying extra tuition for their kids to do better
* the students who were pulling in extra hours by themselves did not like the free extra help they would not qualify for.
So your reasoning and feelings are actually not so rare.
Like I said earlier in the thread. If one of your kids is regularly taken advantage of by your other child, so the parent gives the lesser able child the advantage...to compensate for past suffering. The problem still exists...one happy and one miserable child...just changed sides.
I had an earlier post about Asian and Irish discrimination. I would bet that if these groups started complaining hard enough, a flow of opportunists (leaders, activists) would come in to initiate/provoke more dissent...many of them for profit. In the meantime, things seem to be fine with Asians and the Irish.Ha!!!! Now there might be one aspect : self-interest!!!!!!!
Could racism be more a balance between FEAR and self-interests.

As I said in an earlier post...human nature (instinct) doesn't want to be left with less of anything. It means survival will be more difficult. Less status, less food, less of a car, less security, etc.One other issue then is how people feel about the idea of "levelling the playing field".
And another might be where is the "general interest" for the person? I explain.
In the case of the school, the new teacher saw the general interest as raising the "bottom" of the school: less pupils failing, better general marks, is an improvement for the whole school. The angry parents who paid private tuition, felt their self-interest were about only their kid and not the whols school, the pupils who worked hard to have a decent level were thinking of their self-interest as well. May be there are the questions of feeling robbed of resources for their self-interests?
Themes that thus have appeared around racism:
Fear, self-interest, general interest vs individual interests, feeling one's resources are robbed.
