The White House's take on crypto mining

Prolly somethin'

Other countries are also pulling the plug on energy wasting miners:

"Kazakhstan keeps pulling miners off the grid because the energy supply in that country is er.... unreliable. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...ged-bitcoin-miners-before-blackout-hit-region

Same with Iran: https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2...crypto-mining-ban-to-prevent-winter-blackouts

Fact: Bitcoin consumes over one megawatt-hour of electricity (releasing 400 kg of CO2) PER TRANSACTION.

Are these miners paying for their energy use?

If the answer is yes, their detractors argument is
politically motivated and should be ignored.

Some people that are running larger Bitcoin mining
operations have setup solar panel systems to power
their miners and to cover electricity costs.

I have a couple of Crypto miners, they don't use much
electricity at all, I report the income to the I.R.S., and
I just want to be left alone about it.

I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a
passive income that doesn't require much effort or
input, something that runs in the background of
your life, get into some type of Crypto mining.

This is where Ethereum shines.

I highly suggest any holder carries at least 30% of their crypto portfolio in Ethereum, because with this merge and faster transaction speeds and climate control, it's inevitable that it surpasses Bitcoin in the future. It's already starting to perform better than Bitcoin.

But there will always be room in my portfolio for Bitcoin, don't ever bet against Bitcoin or you will fail.

Most people don't Bonzo, so we are wasting about 1% of world energy on fucking crypto.

Why are you calling me names?

I have no control over what other people
are doing. My Crypto miners use very
little energy.

And if I can set that up, so can anybody.

If I ever get into Bitcoin mining, or any
other miners that use excessive amounts
of energy, or require fans to keep them
cool, I plan to setup solar panels.

WTF else do you want from me?

Stop being a jerk.
