The Wall of Stupid

I was questioning your comment.

How is a fence around private property not a good metaphor. Why is it a non sequitur. Does it no serve the function of forcing people to enter in the correct manner?

It's non-sequitur because the guy you're defending started it with a non-sequitur analogy....which I pointed out.

A fence only has value if the other person respects it. A fence actually does little to prevent someone intent on getting over, under or through it.

That’s why medieval castles had walls and not fences.

Clearly your PhD wasn’t in civil engineering.

A fence around a private property is non-sequitur to a fence around a country because it does "not follow". A country is not owned by it's inhabitants, they merely reside there. If you don't believe it, quit paying property taxes.

Hundreds of TSA screeners, working without pay, calling out sick at major airports

Hundreds of Transportation Security Administration officers, who are required to work without paychecks through the partial government shutdown, have called out from work this week from at least four major airports, according to two senior agency officials and three TSA employee union officials.

"This problem of call outs is really going to explode over the next week or two when employees miss their first paycheck," a union official at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport told CNN. "TSA officers are telling the union they will find another way to make money. That means calling out to work other jobs."

A union official, however, said that while some employees are upset about the pay, officers have said they are calling in sick for more practical reasons. Single parents can no longer afford child care or they are finding cash-paying jobs outside of government work to pay their rent and other bills, for example.

Tis' the cold and flu season.

Seeing that federal government workers are not allowed to strike or sick-out -- it is more likely firing season.

Go ask the Air Traffic Controllers how their sick-out and strike worked for them in 1981.

Wont be long before its 10 hours to get thru security.Or maybe a terrorist gets a bomb on a plane .Trump will own it.MAGA!!!!!!!!!

What's all the fuss about? As soon as Mexico's check for the Wall has cleared and the the money is deposited in the U.S. Treasury's account at the Fed, all Trump has to do is call Nancy and Chuck and they can get started on the wall construction.

Heaven is also a fairy tale. The US and demand for cheap labor is very real
