The Wall of Shame

What happens if they cut losses at the bottom, and they turned into winners if they had not cut?

Just a bit of bad luck, or was it prudent risk management?
%%
THATS why funds + other$ with good sense scale out/plan.
I dont believe in luck.
ONLY way to avoid selling @ bottom is scale in out.
IS OCT a bear killer this time/ should know by this fri ??
+2nd FRI\
+3rd FRI/
+last OCT Thur....... FRI.\ Me i consider if they pay me/pay me dividends to wait.
Like IBD founder never buy a stock[or ETFs, for me] just for a dividend.
I cut a loss on SPYD+ took profits on DVY, so its not a gamble or luck.
May never buy DVY again =Blackrock; its fun when super selective

I've thought about hiring someone like that, as a consultant.

A few weeks late, but even the mighty Apple is flashing the warning now:

If you obey the message of the 50 weekly sma, your drawdown is usually erased at the expense of your pride.

Your anger, on the other hand, must be managed by you alone. Trading is not for intemperate fools (I'm not directing this at you, more toward myself because I know how much of a muppet I truly am)

I appreciate the vote of confidence, and while I was mentally bearish the moment they announced the end of QE and the start of rate hikes in the beginning of this year, my muppet tendencies kept trying to buy the dip and it cost me. I'm not an elite trader. :(

However, I am totally in cash in the 401k and foolishly flat in the spec account. I should have shorted this pig with both fists. Sell the rips!

SPX up 4% since you posted this ( 16% annualized ).

DIY auto repair still looking strong:

It was brilliant when Autozone started offering free computer scans to consumers. That scan is often times $100 or more at a dealer or private garage. Then, Autozone can sell the consumer the part or sensor, as well as tools and specialty tools needed to replace it after showing the consumer how to find, remove, and replace it. Brilliant business strategy, imo.

Automobile repair shops are second only to plumbers in the pillaging and plundering of the consumer wallet.

Imagine how they will feel when 50% of the auto park is electric.
