Notice the overnight rally in index futures creates a gap up in cash VIX then as the index futures pull back after cash open the VIX spikes up even high. Rigged to perfection!
You do realize that the cash VIX and the VIX futures are separate entities right? Never mind. So did we really land on the moon or not?

That bet expired on the 4th of July as you know. We did make a fresh new high though before that. But the bet expired for us both. But I'll tell ya what Zany. Next time I'm in Chicago, steak is on me anyway. That's how the Maver rolls.

No he doesn't... he probably doesn't even realize VIX futures trade almost full time... and that you can't trade VIX spot... and anything VIX curve related...
I reckon he lost some money on VIX futures and plays the blame game, while he should've learned the basics....
