If the politicians, bankers etc. were all on the minimum wage until the national debt was paid off my guess is it wouldn't take very long.

There is close to a 0% chance our federal government will pay off the exploding debt without the 14 letter "h" word. And the only way that will work is if the other counties don't catch on and allow us to keep our debts to them in FRNs.
