the US hypocrisy on free markets

Quote from man:

additional note. fox news is a bigger problem than george
bush has ever been. bill o'reilly is a real, real problem
for journalism as such - though i guess most real journalists
would hardly call him one of them ...
So I was right - you are an ashamed liberal.

Who is Bill O'Reilly? A few hundred thousand people watch Fox News - they are hardly the influence you think they are (I don't watch it all). And those that do are mostly converts anyway. If you want the real problem in journalism just look to the Old Grey Hag, from whom the networks, CNN, CNBC and other liberal rags all take their lead.

How in hell do you propose to enforce size limits?!?

"ashamed liberal", you seem to be pretty proud of that
phrase ... FOX is the reason why the red necks made it
back into the white house. plus the unbelievable willingness
to get rid of all democratic values as shown by bush,
baker and many others. call it conservative, i call it
hypocrites at highest level.

size is the reason why washington is jeopardized by
big business. how in hell can you believe that free
markets and the market share of microsoft can go
hand in hand? size is a threat. always and everywhere.
as simple as that.

neoconservatism is not conservatism. fox is a neocon network. notice how rupert is now backing/funding Hillary? LOL LOL LOL wake up people.

Ratboy is correct.

What democratic values did Bush get rid of?

big business. how in hell can you believe that free

Don't put words in my mouth. And you did not answer my question - how do you propose to limit the size of corporations?

well, we might differ in our perception of shoes ...

bush got rid of the initial democratic thought: majority
rules. but i guess it is not only shoes where our
perception differs. you probably find the supreme
court decision in 2000 absolutely normal in an
established democracy. which in my eyes contradicts
with being a responsible conservative.

it is quite easy on the company size. you might have
realized that there are already such rules. preventing
monopoly situations. you just have to tighten those
rules. that is about it. did i finally answer your oh so
tough question?

Why do you have so much trouble admitting that you are a liberal?

Uh, ever heard of the Electoral College? The United States is not a democracy - it is a republic. The sumpreme court simply upheld the constitution. And every recount confirmed Bush won. Gore lost - get over it!

Now I understand your shame - you are a Daily Kos kook. I guess you took a wrong turn at Albuquerque and ended up on the wrong forum.

I don't see any monopolies. Your Microsoft example does not hold up. There are many other software developers.

You never did come across as "a reasonable guy one can have a fun debate with". You ignore my questions and make off the wall blanket statements with no evidential support. Typical liberal...
