The US federal government has spent $6.4T dollars on the post-9/11 wars

Doesn't mean we have to pay them back. F them.

Ultimately I was thinking the same thing when it comes down to it. Things may get bad enough down the road that when it's time to pay up the U.S. just tells them to get bent.

What are they going to do? Stop shipping us cheap consumer shit causing higher costs and inflation for us? Lol... inflation is already here.

They can go straight to hell for years and years of IP theft and their shitty handling of Covid among other things.

Yeah, it does. Remember when that poor kid came home from North Korea, who was tortured for stealing a poster of Kim Jung Un, and died shortly after coming home? Remember how our court system found North Korea guilty and ordered them to pay 10 million to the family? Remember how you heard NK paid the penalty?

No, you didn't. Because it didn't happen.

International finance my ass. China has such a huge surplus against us, they can fucking bite it. They make so much money off of our consumers, they can chalk up their US debt purchases as a bad bet, and write it off.

What...You are a fan of China? You want to give them free money?
Not sure how NK entered the discussion except perhaps to build a strawman then slide right to the other slanted eye people (all the same aren't they?) to make your point about... what exactly? Chinese businesses sold us goods we ordered so we shouldn't pay their government our debt? Hard to follow, sorry.

If NK can get away with not paying US, the most powerful country in the world, the US can stick it to the Chinese. LOL

And how much ( I mean how little) did the Taliban spent over the past 20 years?

They don't have
the very expensive aircraft carrier, spy satellite, killer drone, fighter plane, armored tank, big gun....

They don't even have basic things like
uniforms, combat boots, helmets for the fighters.
And they won the war.
I am sure there will be books after books talking about their
'success story'.

Taliban just won by hiding amidst its people, by bribing, by intimidation or just via simple family relations for the 2 years that US occupied it very much the same as how the Vietcong did in the jungles during the Vietnam War. You never win when you fight a war on someone else's turf. No matter how sophisticated you think your satellites, your GSP, your drones are, you will never be able to win over somebody who grew up in those jungles, in those deserts, on those mountains, in those alleys. To us, these Talibans are terrorists but to some of those Afghan local people, they are their brothers, fathers, sons, cousins, uncles, friends and that's bonds that you could never break and that's what those Talibans used as their shields to just basically wait out until the west is all exhausted and broke and now they come out and just take over everything.

Bottom Line: Never ever NEVER ever go fight in a war 1) on someone else's turf and 2) in a culture that you have no idea about and in a language that you can't even understand without interpreters. I thought the US would've learned this lesson after the Vietnam War, the Korean War but no obviously the US still has still not learned it with this war against the Talibans.

They wouldn't be the first ones! In wars of attrition where our enemies can survive with nothing in whatever environment, the US can never win because we depend so much on our supply chain for everything. We can go in, win battles, win wars and get out otherwise our costs become prohibitive while all they need to do is melt in, blow something up, and melt away... and they can do that every day until we lose our minds and start shooting everyone indiscriminately.

This is why the US put in Agent Orange but it ended up poisoning its own troops. Another case for robotics. Unmanned drones that just go in and bomb the hell out of them with no casualties from the West. If you don't want your house to be bombed by the drones, you better give up your harboured terrorist and/or help the West understand your culture and construct an accurate and precise map of where everything is in English. You don't go in and you get the job done. That's how the war in the future should be fought.

It is hilarious how arrogant you can be.
We just got an example of how superior the US is. The US tried to catch the Taliban for 20 years, but the Taliban caught the US. You know, the biggest and most powerful nation on earth defeated by a bunch of Muslims in just 10 days. Rambo speeches had no impact on the Taliban.

And the Russian are hacking the US almost everywhere. And what does the US do?

The United States is a giant with feet of clay.

You clearly have no idea how many US multinationals are producing a lot of goods in China. If the US would ban these products it would become the biggest victim itself from it. A lot of electronic devices would not be available anymore for them.
Read this to just have an idea about the potential damage to the US: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/t...es-with-the-most-at-stake-in-china-2018-03-29
Apple, Nike and 18 other U.S. companies have $158 billion at stake in China trade war

Never discuss with brainless people. The more violence they want to use, the harder they proof they have no brains.

The house there is much cheaper than bombs and taliban lives in caves. The more bombs fall on their land, the more support for the opposing force.
