The US Dollar Strategies

I did some thinking that lead me to believe that the US dollar might rally. In addition, my thinking is leading me to believe that if the US were to be downgraded, such a rally could be ferocious.

What strategies would give me the highest "bang for my buck" if the above were to be correct?
