I once worked at a place that required union membership. I had to pay union dues and those dues generally went to paying off local democrat politicians. I really resented that and its been my main impression of unions, that and the windshield breaking the union membership did when negotiations weren't going their way. We were told to park our cars a few blocks away so they wouldn't be damaged.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to boycott ALL unionized business and finding that it is pretty difficult. The grocery store workers are unionized. Most cars are manufactured in unionized factories. Its like china, there isn't a clear way to boycott them.
