Biden also took aim at a Trump proclamation that required immigrants to prove they would be covered by certain health insurance plans within 30 days of entering the U.S. or prove they could cover medical costs.

“My Administration is committed to expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare,” Biden said in revoking that proclamation. “We can achieve that objective, however, without barring the entry of noncitizens who seek to immigrate lawfully to this country but who lack significant financial means or have not purchased health insurance coverage from a restrictive list of qualifying plans.”

Biden rolls back Trump order barring immigrants who can't afford health care
The order came as he met with a group of "Dreamers" at the White House

For the new PC police.

There's no telling how many 'racists' names below this list promulgates.

For real, I thought it was very creative of Trump. The part of him that only idiots fail to see. The creative part.

Note.... Robert E Lee didn't make the list..... proof that even Trump can play the PC game.
He approved this list within hours of stepping down.

Trump's 'Hero Garden'. .....

It is a lot of statues though.

Also revoked was Trump’s June 2020 order that called for the federal government to “prosecute to the fullest extent permitted under Federal law” acts of vandalism and destruction to statues on federal property. That order came in response to the defacement of statues — particularly those honoring the Confederacy — during nationwide protests over racial injustice following the killing of George Floyd while in police custody.

Biden revokes Trump order to punish statue vandals

President Joe Biden has revoked a string of proclamations by Donald Trump, including an order to punish vandals who destroy monuments.

Mr Trump issued the order amid last year's social justice protests as statues were being defaced or toppled.

Mr Biden also rescinded Mr Trump's plans for a sculpture garden to honour American heroes.

And he canned a 2019 proclamation that sought to bar entry to immigrants who could not afford health insurance.

Mr Trump issued an order in June 2020 instructing the federal government "to prosecute to the fullest extent" any person "that destroys, damages, vandalizes, or desecrates a monument, memorial, or statue".

The proclamation - which singled out "rioters, arsonists and left-wing extremists" - was a popular talking point for the Republican president at his rallies.

Biden’s order also revoked Trump’s May 2020 order calling for the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission to investigate social media companies for labeling or removing posts or entire accounts in what Trump claimed was a restriction on free speech. That order came before Trump himself was removed from platforms like Twitter and Facebook after the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.

Biden revokes Trump executive order that targeted Section 230
The order would have changed legal protections for social media platforms

President Biden on Friday revoked several of former President Trump’s executive orders, including one that would have changed legal protections for social media sites and other online platforms.

Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act limits how much online platforms can be held liable for content users share on their platforms. The Trump order, titled “preventing online censorship,” would have allowed federal authorities to hold companies like Twitter, Google, and Facebook responsible if they were found to be infringing on users’ speech by deleting or otherwise modifying users’ posts.

Trump signed the order last May, just as Twitter started applying labels to his tweets as “misleading.” Trump was eventually banned from Twitter for tweets inciting the January 6th riot at the US Capitol. A similar ban by Facebook remains in effect while the company reevaluates it.

Yup. Joe standing up to Trump who is out of office.

Standing up to Iran, Russia, Mideast thugs, China, mexican cartels, etc.

Nowhere to be found.

Most likely Joe will not be undoing Trump's legacy of vaccines, eh? Handing them out is all he has got.

Never would have made it in this day and age anyway. Look at the size of the list. You can bet every person on it has done something to piss off some special interest group at one time or the other. It may have taken a decade, but in the end the garden would be entirely devoid of statues.

That's a lot of statues though, that's for sure.

Edit:
I see Sinatra, but they didn't put Sammy Davis Jr. on there. Hmph. I have to bitch about that one.
Whitney? Really? Naaaaa.
What about the Native Americans? I don't see any. Ira Hayes is I guess.

Edit: ok Sakajawea & Tecumseh.
