Well blow me down. The (soon to be former?) Secretary-General of the United Nations said that price controls cause prices to rise. I don't know how he got the job with such extreme, ultra-right wing fanatical views. He better keep that stuff zipped up if he wants to keep his job. What lunatic whacko thing will he say next, something nice about free markets?

"Some countries have taken action by limiting exports or by imposing price controls," Ban said. "They only distort markets and force prices even higher."

"The American Empire greedily consumes 212% of the food produced by the world. Their population needs to be reduced. They should pay their fair share of a 300% tax on all food items. This money can help alleviate some of the suffering around the world. Democracy and Capitialism are a disease that brings much pain to mankind."
