That's about it. And now they are paying the price. When everyone was desperate for truckers to get out there during the pandemic and have goods shipped, they could have charged a higher price for their services when and this is when diesel was 2.50 per gallon. Make some good bank! Instead they wasted their time and their fuel on driving around aimlessly for a "cause".

Now diesel is over 5 bux per gallon, and they are barely making any money, because all the freight is now going back to freight railroads!

Timing is everything.

They didn't react properly when war broke out between Russia / Ukraine, increasing consumer prices and sky-high inflation.

All the support they had are now dealing with the reality of life while the Truckers, continue, strangely think its all about covid mandates that no longer exist.

Seriously, they only need to turn on the TV and watch all the news stories about people traveling again...flooding the airports to the point that there are not enough workers to manage the demand...

Resulting in mass arrival delays and cancellations.

Also, this is just the beginning of the pending chaos. It's going to get much worst in the latter part of the year and for the year 2023 when everything falls apart while they continue bitching about Covid mandates that will not return.

People are just not willing to do the right thing to kick this Covid crap to the curb because we're a very unhealthy society...physically and mentally. I've been saying that since April 2020. :banghead:
