and you curse the days that the market is closed like this Friday.

So you are saying you are bored when boring trading is not available or you're not really bored when it is. Can't be both.

Yeah trading is boring but I still hate it when the market is closed because I can't make money. Market-closing day is like a forced pay cut for me. WHY is that so hard to understand? They are not even conflicting statements.

So you are only trading because it's exciting? Is that it? LOL

No not exciting and not boring. For more than 20+ years.

I would have either a) stopped b) shot myself if trading was boring for me.

This does not make sense. One does not need to stop or shoot oneself if something they do is boring. There are many ways to cope and compensate for boredom.

Yeah why not? I trade for a living. Trading is quite boring but I still do it. It's my job. What is there not to understand? Not all jobs in the world are exciting. You can only do jobs that are exciting? What are you? Exotic dancers? LOL

If you trade like you read you will be tapped out soon enough.

Second time "No not exciting and not boring"

There is a whole lot degrees between exciting and boring.

So now after catching the highs this morning for the ride down my usual interesting (never boring) trading day is done

Now my exciting holiday weekend starts. Every weekend, holiday or not, is always exciting in South Florida. ;)

NEVER bought into the trading is boring theory\even though it was repeated many times in trading books........................................................
But i still enjoy paper candle charts + only price data may be a bit boring/LOL:D:D
Don't even think about shooting yourself/good thing for me i'm not a mind reader.
