Landis, I don't recall either of them saying it was sold for a profit.
She stated in her nomination speech that she put it on EBAY, but she never diclosed for how much.
And yes they obviously took a loss on it, but so do we as traders.
Point is, the money went back to the state.

A logical person wonders what the new cost of ferrying prisoners back and forth to Arizona is now, as opposed to simply maintaining and refueling an already-paid-for state jet. I'd not be surprised to find this is another net loser for the state of Alaska under Palin's administration.

Oh and by the way, I think it was purchased originally for transporting government(mostly REP) officials. Again , wasteful spending(which she stood up to)not for transport of criminals.

beaches, public swimming pools, and parks..... females often are topless...... and everyone is still normal.....
