So basically I could have half a million dollars more than I have now.

This is the problem with an etitlement society people view it as their god given right to have kids, so while responsible people pop out only the kids they can both afford, and raise properly, irresponsible people pop out 4-5 kids that end up becoming a burden to society.

A lot of the drive seems to come from the mother (wanting more kids). At least, that's been the experience I've seen from friends (completely anecdotal). My wife was good about it. As a Russian, it is typical for a Russian family to only have one child, because that is all they can afford. Having no welfare makes you make intelligent family planning decisions.
 
Thats kind of the area im at in my life, im 30, so most of the women i date want kids, while i like the thought of having a kid, i sure as hell dont want 5, and im honest about it, im young with lots of money, why would i want to burden myself with a bunch of kids so i can have less fun, and be stuck with 1 woman for the rest of my life?

Maybe one day it will change, but not likely, i love my freedom, and why would i want to bring a kid into world i think is doomed to fail?

Better have 0 kids after Obama destroyed the economy. It's already happening. the Millennial generation cannot get jobs and move out of their parent's house, not going to be able to start a family,etc. Thanks Obama.
