I have noticed how Americans shy away from looking at the other side of the equation, nasty laughter, anger at the impudence, sad face to shiny thing distraction and happy again...
I was speaking to doctor/surgeon here who worked in Iraq. He was an expert in gunshot wounds from years of trouble in Colombia. He reckoned the official figures in 2006 were 650,000 Iraqi dead. Same number everyone has. He says nobody is counting accurately in any of the US involved areas.
The low figure is now over a million (Iraq alone) but he says it actually could be as high as two million if you count deaths due to lack of basic medicine and surgeries/post surgery complications. He related that a crazy number of kids died of appendicitis or MRSA type infections post-op.
So good for the family to get some bones back but Trump has upped the killing rate of civilians dramatically and further cut media coverage and counting of dead.
Bush and Cheney created ISIS and another republican is trying to act a hero.
