The Trump Tracker

We are excited to announce the launch of the Trump Tracker. It's a free bot service that constantly scans new public financial documents including all SEC filings, conference call transcripts, investor presentations, press releases and more for mentions of President Trump.

We've built intelligent queries to automatically organize mentions of Trump into categories like Obamacare, Mexico, NAFTA, etc. using the same technology that powers our Document Search product. New mentions are added instantly to the site and will also be posted to the @trumptrackerbot Twitter account. Users can sign up to receive a daily digest alert email once a day.

We found some interesting stats as we dug into the numbers:

  • Since the inauguration, ~60% of SEC filings which mention Trump have been in the Risk Factor disclosures
  • Healthcare is concerned about the proposed Obamacare repeal: 85% of mentions are in Risk factors. 71% for Real Estate, 70% for Energy, 64% for Financials, 62% for Technology
  • Trump is mentioned in the risk factor section of ~10% of all 10Q/10K filings that we scanned over this period

You mean if you are hooked to twitter and happen to work in finance or happen to be American? Most here in HK, even professionals in different industries don't give a fuxx. They don't have much of a clue about Trump. And those are the same people who can educate 97.5% Americans about stuff happening internationally, they speak 2-3 languages on average, they travel every month either work related or for leisure... Not everyone on this planet is affected by Trump THANK GOD

Nobody knows about American football outside the US. Ask Australians or Kiwis and they will tell you that it is curiously strangle to wear helmets and battle gear when a bunch of self-declared tough guys want to go at each other. Many Americans have to stop being so uptight about life and their wrongly perceived importance in the world. But that is what happens when you put greed. Money, and power at the top of the priority list in life. Suddenly everything becomes a competition and survival of the "fittest". America and its "allies" would not even have to battle terrorism if we stayed the fuxx out of the middle east and instead went about with our lives in our own backyards. We gotta get to a point where we let others breathe and let others kill each other if they want to do so. It's not our business. Sadly in your country you have a minority lobby group that has amassed incredible amounts of power and that has a vested interest to keep you fully engaged in the Middle East. Until you cut down their influence America will never get back peace.
