the trend is up, market has bottomed.

i agree dude. whenever i hear people making predictions i think back to like my first year of trading.

Every time you buy a stock you are predicting the price will go up.
Everytime you sell a stock you are predicting the price will go down.
The only other question you have to answer is "over what timeframe?".
It doesn't make any sense to say that it's foolish to try to predict. That's the same as saying that it's foolish to trade.

That is absolutely positively a false statement... When I buy or sell I am not "predicting" anything whatsoever... So in other words the fact that I do not predict anything is enough to refute your claim of "Everytime you sell a stock you are predicting the price will go down"...

where are you now? where is your stop? You were talking so much smack yesterday afternoon. where are you now?
I know 2 things-
1) You are the same person
2) You dont know shit and should change your alias again, because you just got your prediction and smack stuck right up your back side

Paul Tudor Jones (well known futures trader): Everyone says you get killed trying to pick tops and bottoms and you make all the money by catching the trends in the middle. Well, for twelve years I have often been missing the meat in the middle, but I have caught a lot of bottoms and tops.

Don't hear too much chatter about the incompetence of this trader.

I totaly agree with you Chasin... I do not think there is anything futile about picking tops and bottoms, as long as you have a low-risk solid set-up...
