Just noticed market is on its death spiral:

Its not the stock, its the market
The stock is holding up pretty well considering we are about 5 points away from a black wednesday heheh


Stop @ few cents around breakeven will be initiated. Markets not friendly for longs today.
 
Hello people,

While price watching a few picks I Was about to enter today, none of them met the requirements of course.

I was watching a stock with a 100k avg volume.
This has to be the funniest price session ever, I was watching ticks tick up with 100 lot shares. This wasn't just sporadic, almost all the purchases were 100 shares. I was thinking maybe the prints were wrong, how can there be so many poor people wanting to buy this stock?
Of course you have to wonder to yourself,
Does 100 shares taken off the market increases demand? Have instrinic value changed?


Therefore, I have filtered out all stocks with under 300k volume avg. I have this extreme bias just looking at these slugs move.

And of course the previous stock dropped back to where it was after 1.


I have now boosted my machine to 1.5gigs of ram.
Smoking, Love it.
 
I am currently considering to move some of my short campaigns to futures,
while I can do it on both, there are a few moments I find on futures where I can make very good money with low risk.


So can anybody "experienced" figure out why I would move my short campaigns to futures?

Shouldn't be too hard.

Let me venture a guess - the simulator you've been messing with these past few months just added on a futures trading feature and you want to try it out just so you can boast here on ET on how you're starting to make a killing in the futures markets (on top of making a shitload trading stocks). :D

What the hell?? Coolweb, I thought you were actually trading!! Do you mean that you have been trading on a simulator??

So have you ever done any actual trading? I am confused now since you said you were a 'master of price action'. Are you a master of price action on the trading simulator?

And another thing - that guy on the other thread was accusing you of boasting too much. Now this last guy on this thread has also accused you of boasting too much. Are these the same guy under different screen names? What is going on?? Is everyone against you? I am confused - I thought that in you, I had found a mentor and someone I could follow!! I am going to read through this thread to see if you have been boasting. Everyone knows that most of the best traders are actually humble people who do NOT tell others how good they are or how well they can trade or how stupid everyone else is. I am sure you haven't been saying these things, since you are an exceptional person.

I still believe in you as the best trader on ET!!

We see what happens.

I did calculate the cost to "bet" in futures, Could be the tick size in NQ , but compared to what I get in stocks, the return is around 3 times smaller.
