Not moral equivalency at all, as it doesn't go to the morality of the acts themselves by either Marines or Arabs.

If they are Arabs, there is a rush to judgment and calls for execution by the right wingers, if they are military personnel, there is a rush to have them not prejudged, to hold them innocent until proved guilty, and even if they are found guilty, there will be the usual spin telling us that it is not so bad, or that things like this happened all the time in other wars, etc......
