The threat of Ebola maybe be hyped, but the threat of government incompetence is real.

Bush is the reason we got Obama. But Rove set the course 25 years ago and conservatives are still following it, even though the younger ones may not be aware of it.
I'll bet you didn't know Rove was against Reagan in 1980...or did you?

The right lost because "Bush lied, people died". And yet, it is breaking that he didn't lie, but was talked into keeping silent about the truth (by Rove) because "the argument was lost in the media". Be interesting to see how much traction these stories get. Santorum confirmed this story on Marks show Fri night.

If this is all true, than the entire narrative changes (or would have). If true, Rove is the architect of several elections that should not have been lost, even with moderates like McCain and Romney running. The dems regained power because of a war based on a lie, which now seems may have not been a lie at all. I, for one, anxiously await to see how this plays out, not that it matters at this point. This kind of cover up is a head scratcher, at any rate.

Interesting how they equate "government" with "Obama" when they want to trash him, but Boehner can't even decide whether or not to bring the House back to discuss the problem (much less debate and vote on actions against ISIS).
There is NO point in bringing the house back until Nut job Harry Reid stops blocking the senate from voting on any and every bill introduced by the house.

And yet when he acts on his own, Repubs are all over him.

Too bad Dems don't have a Karl Rove. :(

Sigh, republicans are "all over him" when he exercises power that he doesn not possess under the Constitution. Issues like amending laws on his own, deciding which parts of laws to enforce, ignoring immigration law, obstructing congressional investigations into his endless scandals, and attacking countries which have not attacked u or pose any threat to us without congresional approval.

Imposing travel bans on ebola carriers is something that is manifestly within his authority, as is enforcing border security.

The facts are the facts. One, just one person showed up unexpectedly and the wheels came off from the get go. First he was misdiagnosed and sent home. Probably cost the poor bastard his life. Then we saw how completely unprepared and poorly equipped the average hospital is to deal with this. "Professionals" became infected as a result. Then we saw how completely incapable the CDC was in trying to control the people who came in contact with this one person. Just one person. The fact that we've only seen two additional people infected as a result of this gross incompetence is nothing but dumb luck, and dumb luck ain't a strategy that plays out well in the long run.
We couldn't professionally handle the consequences of one, just one single person showing up unexpectedly. ONE!

Misdiagnosed at a private not government hospital.

Doubt a government one would have done any better initially though. Seriously doubt it.
