The tech bubble of the 90's

Was too young to daytrade but I remember i was fresh out of high school with a few thousands in savings. A TV ad got me interested in investing so i put the money in TVFQX, mutual fund by Firstand Funds. Made 50% in 2 months then i saw they came up with an internet sector fund so being the genius that i thought i was, i decided to put the money in the top 2 holdings instead - CMGI and ICGE(LOL). By NYE '99 my 5k savings were 200k+. Thought i was a stock trading God with my head in the clouds.............


........right around 9/11 i was 50k in debt as i kept averaging down into the abyss. Good lesson to learn when you are 21.

I am still trying to ascertain if you have any business taking about the 90's.
