Considering the Tea Party began sponsoring candidates and becoming part of the dialogue since 2009, I'd say it's made some significant headway in only 5 years. Idiots like Ricter and Covertibility seem to forget that aspect. How long have the Democrat and Republican parties been around? How many alternative parties have there been over the years and how far have any of them gotten? Have any of those alternative parties been able to push their agenda in the government - at all? Ever?

Yeah, exactly. The fact that the democrats continue to try to pour out the criticism of the Tea Party makes it quite obvious they are worried sick about it.

Stop the big spending repubs of the Bush admin from continuing on their path as democrat light. Id say they accomplished this given the fact that the house has not allowed a single big spending bill to be passed without offset since they got some of their members in, in 2010. Plus they managed to get rid of atleast 1 scum bag, Eric Cantor, though admittedly their progress in eliminating the top scumbags from both parties has been somewhat limited.

I guess there is a reason the assholes like Boehner, McConnel, Graham, McCain, Reid, Pelosi, Wasserman Schultz, etc.... can do and say whatever they want, they are throroughly entrenched in their crony positions.

Are you really going to argue on behalf of any of those scumbags? Why isnt the left going after them with the same tenacity.

They did. And they have. They've changed the dialogue and influenced the issues in Washington. If they hadn't, none of you moonbats would be so obsessed with them. When was the last time the democrats went all nuts about the Green Party? Or the Pirate Party? Or even the Libertarian Party?

You haven't given those very real, legitimate parties any air time because they're completely ineffective. The only reason you're so focused on the Tea Party is because it is a very real threat to your socialist utopia.

The Tea Party is primarily about Constitutionally limited Federal government, fiscal responsibility, and allowing individuals to be responsible for their own lives.

Anybody who is against those principles doesn't deserve to live in this country.

The Constitution was drafted to INTENTIONALLY LIMIT THE POWERS OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO PREVENT WHAT IS OCCURRING TODAY!!
