The tea party isn’t just losing; it’s losing badly

It's becoming clear that most of these people started following politics when the tea party came about. Reagan not relevant?? If O'Donnell and Angle didn't run in 2010, Republicans would've had 49 Senate seats with 2 going to Independents. Some bargaining could've had the repeal of Obamacare.

And this Cantor thing was because of low turnout, not a resurgence of the stupid. But if the establishment panics, then the R's will implode and Obama wins again this fall.

"And this Cantor thing was because of low turnout"

I have not read that anywhere yet. Where did you see it?

Lol, yeah, I'm on tilt. Just seething here, yep, that's it. :D

The way you and Covertibility are going on about it, I don't doubt you're a tad "tilted". Throw all the smileys you want around, your posts speak volumes.

Those who claim Cantor was a conservative?

Who is likely to vote to end funding for Obamacare... Cantor or Brat.
Who is likely to cut spending and balance the budget... Cantor or Brat
How about lower taxes.
How about return power to the states on education.
Who is more likely to secure the boarders.

Who is more likely to do nothing but what the establishment cronies tell him to do.
And by the way... that is not even a conservative agenda... that is just a common sense agenda.
And that was sort of Brats message last night. He is not right or left... he is for free markets and the constitution.

Without smileys it appears you're the one who's really on tilt.

Now give me some more words.

I usually don't waste my time with emoticons or trolling. I'm nowhere near as comfortable as you are with worthless commentary.

Facts have no place in a Ricter narrative.

Last night MSNBC had a Virginia House Democrat on discussing Cantor's district, going through the quadrants. He made the comment that it appeared that the establishment R's had stayed home thinking Cantor would win this easily. He also made the comment that there's not much turnout given his stature. But obviously the lunatics were out.

And now there is a Calvinist representing the district, Eric Cantor Defeated in VA GOP Primary by Tea Party Calvinist :

The big news of the evening: House Majority Leader Eric Cantor has lost the Virginia GOP primary to Tea Party challenger Dave Brat … a Christian Reconstructionist who cites 16th century theologian John Calvin as an influence. Just what we need, another extreme right wing religious fundamentalist in Congress.

This wouldn't happen to be the same MSNBC that ranked least trustworthy out of all news stations, would it? You certainly have matched your own credibility with the right station.

Wait, forgot this: :) :)

Maybe that is what we need, for the low level infection to surge and come to the public's (greater) attention, so it gets treated. : )
