This thread by covertibility should be framed, as the best fade in the history of ET, since posting, the Tea Party has locked in one major victory after another, including knocking off Eric Cantor. The only call ive seen on ET that was worse than this was the "Housing Rolling Along" thread where covertibility was saying there was no bubble in housing in 2006.

That housing series started in 2003 and ended with the sell post near the top unlike the rest of the people who had stated every day, of every week, of ever year all the way to the top that the end was near. If anyone had faded that, they lost early and often.

I guess looking up the RAND study regarding Krugman's statements on the efficiency of the VA about 10 years ago was too difficult to do? Don't worry Tao couldn't read that either even when it was presented in the thread. Reading comprehension problems are rampant among the republican minds on this site.

I recall Max posting a thread a few years ago saying that the US wasn't a violent country yet didn't bother to read the report that had showed the US fails to report offenses that other countries do. The report later stated that if the US were to report offenses in the same manner, then Americans were indeed a more violent country.

Even this thread, look at the context and then look at the results of the most recent presidential election that saw Tea Party officials either being kicked out or have decided not to run due to lack of support (ie. Bachman), a fluke of Cantor does not necessarily mean the tide has turned to the TP's favor long term.

Are you referring to the piece by krugman where he referred to the VA as an exemplary model of just how awesome socialised medicine is?
