The Tao of Minimalistic Trading: $300 Daily Profit

anyone can place a trade..then bracket 3 points either way. doesn't take a genius
Time for you to tell us where you exited, unless you're still in that is. What was your average entry price for all your long entries as you kept adding on the way down?

My count says your average price is 28.42 (39.50, 26.25, 19.50), and the ES is below that at the moment. Did you get out when you had a chance to lock in some profit?

When somebody posts like a troll use the "Report" feature! Don't engage it!
Agreed, but since this is schizo's thread, its up to him how he wants to manage it. At the very least, jimmie should update us on his killer trading that may have netted him a few points profit after going through an intense drawdown.

Made a Gain of 7.25 points or $362.50 for the day. It could have been much better. However, even though I've made some egregious mistakes, a valuable lesson was learned as well.

thats a solid day:cool:

Sorry schizo, I took this post to mean you hit your loss limit.
Well, so did I at that point. I got hit twice in a row with -2.50 and -3 points. But here's the complete story. What I neglect to mention were the winner before those trades, namely 3.75 and 0.50 points.

Anyway, as Stewie mentioned above, I rarely look at my P/L before the day is up. It's too much distraction.

LOL see ya all on gap up...maybe 500? maybe not:D

stewie et al...i still dont see your trade???
From now on, if you ever have a drawdown larger than 15 points, I'm going to treat your trades as bogus. If you have the stomach that large to withstand the pain, then you better post your exact stop in advance, long before it gets to that level.
